The Andalou Naturals Pumpkin Honey Glycolic Mask may possibly be my favorite face mask in general. It’s absolutely my favorite glycolic acid face mask! Glycolic acid is a must-have for your skincare arsenal if you’re fighting uneven or dull skin.
Andalou Naturals Pumpkin Honey Glycolic Acid Face Mask
Andalou Naturals is an awesome cruelty-free skincare brand. They’re Leaping Bunny certified and can be found in drugstores, at Ulta, and online. The best thing about Andalou is their commitment to doing what is right for the planet.
The Pumpkin Honey Glycolic Mask uses alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) to slough off dead skin and smoothes out skin texture. AHAs help to “unglue” the dead skin that builds up on our face and reveals a brighter, smoother complexion. Pumpkin contains enzymes that remove dry skin cells and honey soothes skin and helps balance.
Fruit stem cells, vitamin C, and glycolic AHA blended with manuka honey and organic pumpkin, rich in beta carotene, gently dissolve and sweep away dull, dry surface cells, exfoliating and resurfacing for even tone, smooth texture, and a luminous complexion.
The Best Glycolic Acid Face Mask
We all love pumpkin pie, right? This mask is like rubbing one on your face. Sounds kind of questionable, but smells amazing.
But seriously, the scent of this mask proves that Andalou uses superior ingredients. If I didn’t know better I’d assume it’s just pumpkin and cinnamon, not a face mask.
Glycolic acid, AKA alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), is AMAZING for revealing that glowy, youthful skin we all want.
Unlike other AHA masks I’ve used, I didn’t find this one tingled as intensely as others. This is a good option for those with sensitive skin. The added honey really helps to soothe irritated skin.
After using it regularly, I felt like my skin looked more healthy in general and makeup sat better on it.
If you want baby-butt smooth skin, you need this mask. Immediately after rinsing off, my face felt smoother, more plumped, and looked healthier.
- Smells awesome
- Sensitive skin friendly
- Smoothing and brightening
- If you hate pumpkin or cinnamon I don’t recommend (or if you’re allergic, please don’t rub this on your face)
- Can be kind of messy
The Results Are In
